EL PASO, TX -- After Salt Lake used the long ball for a win on Tuesday, El Paso copied that formula for success on Wednesday, as the Chihuahuas hit three home run to edge the Bees 4-3.

Shane Peterson belted a one out, solo homer in the 8th off of Vicente Campos (1-2) to snap a 3-3 tie and put El Paso ahead to stay. Jabari Blash led off the ninth for Salt Lake with a double to represent the tying run, but was left stranded at third. The Bees took a 2-0 lead in the second on back to back RBI singles by Juan Graterol and Zach Houchins. The Chihuahuas came back with a solo homer by Luis Urías in the fifth off of Bees starter Parker Bridwell and a two run shot by Javy Guerra in the sixth off of reliever Taylor Cole. Salt Lake tied the game at 3-3 on a leadoff home run by Ben Revere.
Bridwell went five and one-third innings and allowed just two runs on seven hits with six strikeouts and one walk in his first start of the season for the Bees. Revere and Houchins led Salt Lake with two hits and one run batted in each, while Blash added two hits and scored one run. Blash has now hit safely in all six games he has played.
