The Salt Lake Bees broke a 7-7 tie with four runs in the seventh and go on to an 11-9 win over the Reno Aces on Tuesday afternoon. After Reno tied the game with four runs in the fifth, the Bees used two walks and a single to load the bases with no outs in the seventh.

César Puello tapped a comebacker to the mound that was misplayed by Matt Koch for an error to bring in the go ahead run. Wilfredo Tovar drove in a run with his second sacrifice fly of the game and Josè Briceño followed with a two run double to make it 11-7. The Aces scored two runs in the eighth to pull to within two runs, but Jeremy Rhoades worked a scoreless ninth inning for his first save of the season.
Jake Jewell (2-2) allowed two runs on three hits in two innings with two strikeout to get credited with the victory. Puello led the Bees with four hits, including a home run, and four runs batted in, while Briceno added two hits and two RBI. The win completes a four game series sweep for the Bees' first series win of the season and gives them a five game winning streak. It also gives Salt Lake a 6-6 record on their longest road trip of the season.
