Small businesses play a critical role in our community and in the broader economy, bringing economic growth, innovation and diversity to our region.

Criteria:
Tenure: In business for at least 3 years.
Size: Minimum of 5 employees
Revenue: Must have annual revenue between $250K-$5M
Type: For-profit business and must be a registered business in the state of PA
Location: Headquarters in Northeast PA
Evaluation Focus:
Community Impact: Positive contributions to the local area
Growth Story: Compelling business growth narrative
Unique Offerings: Distinct products or services
Future Plans: Vision for continued positive impact
Timeline:
April 1-May 15: Nomination Period
May 16-June 5: Review Period
June 12-June 19: Announcement/Activation
July 21, 2026: Recognition and pre-game ceremony at PNC Field
*Winner must be available on this date
Prizes:
Winner receives the following:
- 18 tickets to a suite at PNC Field on July 21, 2026 (*food and beverage included*)
- In-game recognition of winning company on-field during pregame on July 21 with owner of the business
- In-park videoboard recognition of the small business winner at the game on July 21- pre-game and when the company is recognized during the game
- Specialty Jersey presented to the winner by the SWB RailRiders
- First pitch available for one representative from the small business winner
