The Salt Lake Bees couldn't complete the series sweep, as New Orleans picks up a 4-2 win on Thursday night.

The Bees fell behind in the first inning on a two run homer by Destin Hood, his third roundtripper of the series. Salt Lake tied the game in the third, as Tony Sanchez and Eric Young, Jr. singled and scored on an error. New Orleans reclaimed the lead in the fourth, as Hood doubled, advanced to third on a ground out and scored the go ahead run on a single to left by Moisés Sierra. New Orleans would add an insurance run in the eighth on a solo homer by Tomás Telis.
Bees starter Vicente Campos (0-2) took the loss, as he went four innings and allowed three runs on five hits with three walks and two strikeouts. Salt Lake reliever Manny Bañuelos was sharp, as he tossed two and two-third scoreless innings with three strikeouts and one walk. The Bees managed only six hits against three New Orleans pitchers, including former University of Utah star Stephen Fife, who went six innings and allowed just five hits with five strikeouts and no walks. Kaleb Cowart led Salt Lake with a pair of singles. Young's third inning single extended his hitting streak to eight games.
