Cubs make seven errors in 13-2 loss to TinCaps

That was until the Fort Wayne TinCaps went on a five run, two out rally off of the South Bend Cubs. With two errors, two walks, and a pair of base hits, the TinCaps took the commanding 5-0 lead after just an inning. This would be the theme of the night as the Cubs made seven total errors and lost the game 13-2 to open the series.
Lacy finished his outing with four complete innings. He allowed nine runs, but only one was earned due to the errors made by the defense. The right hander walked five and struck out three in his start. Despite only one earned run, he took the loss and his record falls to 0-1.
