Under the Sun Tour Concert at Four Winds Field
July 16, 2015

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - To show their appreciation for the nation's military service personnel, the South Bend Cubs are once again partnering with United Beverage and Budweiser to offer one free ticket for the upcoming Under the Sun Tour concert to anyone who has served or is currently serving in the U.S. military.

The concert takes place on Friday, July 31 and features four nationally known bands. Eve 6 will open the show. Their performance will be followed by Uncle Kracker, Sugar Ray and finally, the headliner, Better Than Ezra. While the order of appearance is subject to change, the concert kicks off at 7:00 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m. EST.

"This show is going to be great-these guys are all about having fun," said Joe Hart, President of the South Bend Cubs. "Our partners at United Beverage and Budweiser want our military personnel to kick back and have some fun too."

This is not the first time the organizations have offered free tickets to the military, Hart said. "For this year's South Bend Country Fest, we had the same deal. We had really good feedback from the families of our military and veterans and knew we'd do it again if we had the chance."

To get their free ticket, active and veteran military personnel can visit the South Bend Cubs Box Office to show their military ID.

Advance tickets for the Under the Sun concert are on sale for $22 and can be purchased online.
