Ticket Discount for Military and First Responders on Monday

South Bend, IN -The South Bend Silver Hawks announced today they will offer discounted tickets for military personnel and first responders for Monday's Memorial Day home game against the Dayton Dragons at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.

All military personnel (active, reserve, retired, and veteran) as well as any active or retired fire and police personnel will save $2 on their ticket for Monday's home game at Coveleski Stadium. Qualified individuals will receive the discounted ticket at the stadium box office upon showing their valid ID.

"Our military and first responders are the backbone of not only our community but throughout our country. In honor of our team president and former Vietnam POW Joe Kernan, we want to show our appreciation for the sacrifices of all of our service men and women," said Lynn Kachmarik, Vice President and General Manager for the Silver Hawks. "It is only fitting that we honor their valiant efforts by inviting them to celebrate the national pastime at Coveleski Stadium on Memorial Day."

Monday is also a Block Party Monday presented by your neighborhood Applebee's and WAOR. Select concession items will be sold for just $1 and $2 each, creating a great opportunity for a holiday family feast at the ballpark.
