South Bend, IN -- Jason Vosler has been promoted to Advanced-A Myrtle Beach while Vimael Machin has returned to the South Bend Cubs roster.
The 21 year-old Vosler played in sixty-nine games for South Bend hitting .235 with four home runs, twenty runs batted in and scoring twenty-six runs. The left-handed hitter played every position on the infield including 38 games at third base.
Vosler was a 2014 sixteenth round pick of the Chicago Cubs out of Northeastern University.
Machin returns to the South Bend roster for a second time this year.
The 21 year-old Machin has played in fourteen games for the Cubs hitting .212 with one run scored and one run driven in.
The Virginia Commonwealth infielder was a 2015 tenth round pick of the Chicago Cubs.
The South Bend Cubs host the Great Lakes Loons tonight at 7:05pm(ET).
