Calaz Homers Twice in Season Finale Win

Robert Calaz continued his torrid finish to the year with a pair of homers as the Indians thumped the AquaSox, 10-4, in front of 4,974 fans at Avista Stadium for the Fan Appreciation Season Finale presented by KREM 2 & 93.7 The Mountain.

Calaz's multi-HR game was his second of the season and capped off a terrific final month for the 20-year-old slugger. Over his final 20 games, Calaz hit .357 (25-for-70) with six doubles, eight home runs, 15 RBI, 16 runs scored and a 1.211 OPS.

Ethan Hedges finished 2-for-4 with a double and his team-leading 16th home run. Spokane's third baseman finished the season ranked among the Northwest League's top five in RBI (76), hits (119), doubles (26) and total bases (193).

Wilder Dalis homered as part of a three-hit day, and wrapped up the season slashing .308/.400/.551 with 21 doubles, 19 home runs, 80 RBI, and 27 stolen bases in 93 games between Fresno and Spokane.

Yuma Herrera (2-5) picked up the win with five innings of two-run ball while Luke Hansel picked up his first High-A save with four solid innings of relief.
