Carrier's Big Night Leads Indians to 6-1 Win

Lorenzo Carrier had a pair of hits and three RBIs as the Indians handled the Hops, 6-1, in front of a season-high 6,579 fans at Avista Stadium for Rally Towel Giveaway & Fireworks Night presented by Bulldog Rooter, 95.3 KPND, & The Spokesman-Review.

A 14th-round pick in this year's draft after a record-setting season at Pittsburgh, Carrier made his professional debut with the Indians on Wednesday and has gone 3-for-7 with a double and three RBIs in his first two games in Spokane.

Roldy Brito singled twice and stole a pair of bases in his return to the lineup while Tommy Hopfe and Ethan Hedges both added an RBI in the win.

Justin Loer struck out five over 2.2 scoreless innings to pick up the win, with Seth Clausen tossing the game's final 1.2 frames for his second save with Spokane.
