Spokane, Wash. - It was "Revenge of the Fifth" for the Indians on a toasty summer evening at Avista Stadium. Spokane and Vancouver entered the fifth inning all knotted up at one, but the Canadians scored twice in that fateful frame and cruised from there on out as they topped the Indians, 6-1, in front of 6,051 fans at Avista Stadium for Star Wars & Fireworks Night presented by Washington's Lottery, KXLY 4 News Now, & KEY 101.

TOP PERFORMERS

Starting pitcher Connor Van Scoyoc took the loss but kept the Indians in the game with six solid innings (6 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 4 K).

Ryan Ritter and Braiden Ward both notched a pair of base knocks while Benny Montgomery, Zach Kokoska, Ben Sems, Ronaiker Palma, Juan Guerrero all had one hit in the loss.

The Spokane Indians are the High-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies located in Spokane, Washington, and were named 2021 MiLB Organization of the Year. Avista Stadium is home to the MultiCare Kids Bench Seat. Parking at all Spokane Indians games is FREE. The Spokane Indians Office and Team Store hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Monday through Thursday and 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Fridays. On game days, the Office and Team Store are open from 10:00 AM through the end of the game.
