TOP PERFORMERS

Carrigg, the 65th-overall pick in last year's draft, enjoyed his best game as a Spokane Indian on a warm Saturday night at Avista Stadium. The switch-hitter singled in the first, tripled in the third, singled again in the fourth, and capped the day off with a solo shot - his second home run of the season - in the seventh. The breakout performance boosted Carrigg's early-season average by 59 points, his OBP by 41 points, and his slugging by 144 points (.916 OPS).

Kyle Karros and Juan Guerrero both had a pair of base knocks while Dyan Jorge, Bryant Betancourt, Jesus Bugarin, Jose Cordova, and Braiden Ward all had a hit in the win.

Right-hander Braxton Hyde (1-0) picked up his first win of the season with 2.1 scoreless innings of relief while Felix Ramires and Luis Amoroso closed out the game with two clean frames.
