Kyle Karros Named NWL Player of the Month

Spokane Indians third baseman Kyle Karros was named the Northwest League Player of the Month for April by Minor League Baseball today after leading the circuit in average (.333), slugging percentage (.530) and OPS (.973). The 21-year-old was also second in doubles (eight)

Spokane Indians third baseman Kyle Karros was named the Northwest League Player of the Month for April by Minor League Baseball today after leading the circuit in average (.333), slugging percentage (.530) and OPS (.973). The 21-year-old was also second in doubles (eight) and on-base percentage (.443) and was third in hits (22), total bases (35) and RBI (14). He recorded seven multi-hit games in the month and connected on his first professional home run - an inside-the-park shot - against the Tri-City Dust Devils on Saturday, April 13th.
The youngest son of 1992 National League Rookie of the Year Eric Karros, Kyle was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of UCLA and currently ranks as the No. 28 prospect in the Colorado Rockies system by MLB Pipeline.
