St. Lucie Mets season starts Friday, April 5th

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – The 2024 St. Lucie Mets scheduled has been revealed. Opening Day is Friday, April 5th vs. the Daytona Tortugas (Reds affiliate) at Clover Park. The season will conclude September 8th on the road against the Clearwater Threshers (Phillies affiliate). Once again, the Mets will play

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – The 2024 St. Lucie Mets scheduled has been revealed. Opening Day is Friday, April 5th vs. the Daytona Tortugas (Reds affiliate) at Clover Park. The season will conclude September 8th on the road against the Clearwater Threshers (Phillies affiliate). Once again, the Mets will play 132 total games in the Florida State League – 66 at home and 66 on the road.

Like the past three years, the season format is six-game series that span Tuesday-Sunday. There are a few notable exceptions:

  • Three game series to start the season vs. Daytona Friday, April 5th – Sunday, April 7th.
  • Three road games at Daytona Monday, July 1st – Wednesday, July 3rd.
  • Three home games vs. Daytona Thursday, July 4th – Saturday, July 6th.
  • Three road games at Jupiter Friday, July 19th – Sunday, July 21st.

Home games on Tuesdays and Thursdays-Saturdays start at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday home games are 1:10 p.m. and Sunday home games are 12:10 p.m. Exceptions include:

  • Tuesday, May 21st – 6:05 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 22nd – 11:10 a.m. (Education Day)
  • Saturday, July 6th – 4:10 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 10th – 6:10 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 23rd – 6:05 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 24th – 11:10 a.m. (Camp Day)

The Mets will play all nine of the other FSL teams throughout the course of the season. They have 78 total games against their three East Division rivals – 27 against both Daytona and the Jupiter Hammerheads (Marlins affiliate) and 24 against the Palm Beach Cardinals (Cardinals affiliate).

The Mets play 54 games against the FSL North Division – 12 against Clearwater (six home, six away), 12 against the Bradenton Marauders (Pirates affiliate – six home, six away), 12 against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels (Twins affiliate – six home, six away), six against the Tampa Tarpons (Yankees affiliate – six home), six against the Lakeland Flying Tigers (Tigers affiliate – six home) and six and against the Dunedin Blue Jays (Blue Jays affiliate – six away).

The Mets road series against the Marauders from May 7th-12th will be their first trip to Bradenton since 2019.

The Mets do not visit Lakeland or Tampa in 2024. Dunedin is the only FSL team not coming to Clover Park.

The FSL will have a four-day break from July 15th-18th to coincide with the MLB All Star break.
