The Power made it 2-0 with a run in the top of the sixth.
Asheville's lone run came in the bottom of the sixth.
The Tourists put at least one runner on base in eight of their nine innings at the plate. Asheville went 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position and struck out a total of 13 times in the game.
The series between Asheville and West Virginia is now tied up at one game apiece. The two teams with face off for the final time in 2017 on Friday night with the winner claiming the series.
