A

ADA Accommodations

McCormick Field is a completely ADA accessible facility. Disabled guests may enter McCormick Field via the main gate. Parking spaces are marked clearly in front of McCormick Field for both the half-circle drive and the main parking lot. All restroom facilities are also ADA friendly. Please notify the Asheville Tourists Box Office at (828) 258-0428 when purchasing tickets if you require an accessible seat.

Age Requirement

All children ages six years and older must purchase a ticket for entry into McCormick Field. Infants and children five years of age and under will be admitted free in the general admission area or as long as they sit comfortably in a parent's lap in other areas of the ballpark.

Alcohol Management

No alcoholic beverages may be brought into or removed from McCormick Field. North Carolina state law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. There is a limit of one alcoholic beverage per person per purchase.

Announcements

For any public address announcements, please visit the Lassonde Industries Guest Services window located at the box office, near the front gate. Announcements will be made based upon available time.

Baby Changing Tables

Baby changing tables are located in both the men's and women's restrooms at McCormick Field. The restrooms are located on the concourse behind home plate and down the third base line.

Bags Policy

In accordance with McCormick Field security guidelines, fans are only permitted to carry the following bags:

Diaper bags | Medical bags | Small purses, clutches, or wallets no larger than 8.5" x 11" (may include strap or handle)

Absolutely no backpacks, totes, or bags larger than 8.5" x 11" will be allowed.

Cameras

Still and hand-held video cameras are welcome at McCormick Field, however, tripods are not permitted. Video reproduction of Asheville Tourists games or McCormick Field events is strictly prohibited without express written consent from the Asheville Tourists and Minor League Baseball.

Cellular Phones

Cellular phones are permitted within McCormick Field provided their use does not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game.

Guests are always encouraged to bring forth any comments and/or suggestions. Simply speak with any available Asheville Tourists front office member, or visit the Lassonde Industries Guest Services window, located at the box office near the main gate. Concessions & Catering

The Asheville Tourists provide a wide variety of concessions from philly cheesesteaks to taco bowls! Some of our fan-favorites include chicken tenders, corn dogs, and the churro sundae. Don't worry, we didn't forget the staples- hot dogs, peanuts, and popcorn are located throughout the concourse.

Field Dimensions

Left Field - 326 feet; Left Center - 370 feet; Center - 373 feet; Right Center - 320 feet; Right Field 297 feet.

First Aid

In the unlikely event that you are injured at McCormick Field, Mission Hospital's EMTs are on site to handle any medical needs. The Mission Hospital EMTs are located at the front gate, at the Mercy Urgent Care Gazebo. Should need medical attention, please contact the nearest Asheville Tourists staff member. We will be happy to assist you.

Foul Balls & Bats

The holder of each ticket assumes all risks and danger arising from the action of the players, coaches, and officials on the field before, during, and after the actual occurrence of the event. Such risks and danger include, but are not limited to, being injured by objects such as bats, balls, bases, helmets, and promotional merchandise that are thrown, batted, kicked, shot, tossed, etc. from the field, bullpens, dugouts, and other areas on the stadium grounds. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that DeWine Seeds Silver Dollar Baseball, the Asheville Tourists management and team members, City of Asheville, the South Atlantic League, various participants and participating clubs, and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners, and employees are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.

Gate Times

The main gate opens 60 minutes prior to each home game for all guests. Special game times and double-header games may vary. Please inquire at (828) 258-0428.

Great Clips Courtesy Vehicle

The Asheville Tourists and Great Clips are teaming up during the season to provide a courtesy golf cart for fans needing assistance when attending baseball games at McCormick Field. The eight-person golf cart will circle the parking lots and surrounding areas immediately adjacent to McCormick Field to pick up fans who need a ride to the front gate. The service will also be available after games on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: McCormick Field and the Tourists Trap are closed to the public until April 2025 for stadium renovations. Our staff is still working and preparing for next season! You can reach us at [email protected].

Jersey Giveaways

Jersey giveaways occur on Saturdays throughout the season. Gates open at 4:30 PM and the first 1,000 fans in the ballpark will receive an orange voucher to trade in for a free jersey. One voucher per person and one jersey per voucher. You must have a voucher to get a jersey. You will not receive a jersey if you don't have a voucher.

Lost & Found

Guests may inquire about lost and found items at the Lassonde Industries Guest Services window, located at the box office. To inquire about lost and found items after a game, guests may call the Asheville Tourists front office at (828)258-0428 during business hours (10:00 am to 4:00 pm). Items will be held for thirty days before being discarded or donated to charity.

Lost Children

In the unlikely event that a member of your party becomes separated, please report to the Lassonde Industries Guest Services window, located at the box office, for assistance. The Asheville Tourists staff is always available to help locate any lost or separated guests.

The Tourist Trap team merchandise store is currently closed for in-store shopping due to ballpark renovations. You can shop 24/7 online at TouristsTrap.Com!

On-Field Access

Only authorized personnel will be permitted on the field before, during, and after the games. Any unauthorized person entering the field or the top of the dugouts will be removed from McCormick Field and subject to arrest.

Outside Food and Beverages

No outside bottles, cans, coolers, food or beverages may be brought into McCormick Field. Exceptions will be made for those with specific medical needs or items needed for infants and small children. The Tourists'will make every effort to accommodate our guest's food preferences.

Parking

Parking is limited directly around the ballpark. Here are the lots we recommend parking in:

- The parking lot in front of Memorial Field. Memorial Field is a city owned facility located just above McCormick Field. This is free parking and has roughly 50 spaces available. This lot will fill up first and quickly on busy nights.

- The Minnie Jones Health Center lot. This is a doctor’s office located approximately 3 blocks away on Biltmore Avenue. This is also free parking and a short walk to the ballpark.

- Asheville Gastroenterology Associates. Located at 191 Biltmore Avenue and across the street from the ballpark.

Pets

Pets are not permitted inside McCormick Field, except for Doggies at the Diamond games. However, service animals are welcome.

Rain Check Policy

If an official game is not played, that being 4.5 innings if home team is leading or 5 innings if game is tied or if the visiting team is leading, the ticket may be used as a rain check. In this case, this ticket may be exchanged for a ticket of equal value, based on seating availability, for any future non-restricted home game. Exchanges are accepted exclusively at the McCormick Field Box Office. Tickets for official games that are suspended after becoming an official contest do not qualify as rain checks.

Re-Entry

Once you have been admitted through the ticket gate, re-entry to McCormick Field is permitted for that event. If a guest needs to re-enter, fans are asked to visit Lassonde Industries Guest Services for a re-entry hand stamp.

Smoke-Free Policy

Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere inside McCormick Field. Fans may exit and re-enter the ballpark if choosing to smoke.

Special Dietary Options

McCormick Field has various vegan and gluten free options located throughout the concourse.

Philly Cheese Stand- Portobello Philly (GF buns available upon request)

Sausage Shack- Vegan Dog (GF buns available upon request)

Crash's Kitchen & Moon's Landing- Roots Hummus, chips
