Springdale, AR-The Arkansas Travelers were denied a sweep at Northwest Arkansas, being shutout 2-0 on Monday night. It was the 10th time this season that the Travs were blanked as Josh Staumont (six innings) and Walker Sheller (three innings) combined on the four-hitter.


Moments That Mattered                                                                                                               

  • Dario Pizzano and Ryan Casteel had consecutive hits with two outs in the first inning but both were stranded.
  • Staumont and Sheller combined to retire 15 consecutive Travs batters from the third through the eighth.
