Internship Program

Program Overview

The Tri-City ValleyCats believe that the best way to enter and learn the industry is by doing. In addition to comprehensive training, you can expect real-world, hands-on involvement. You will have the opportunity to put your skills to practice and complete projects on your own with the guidance of the ValleyCats staff. You will participate in event planning and management, research, and projects that directly relate to carrying out the mission of the organization. Opportunities to craft leadership and communication skills will be provided through development activities hosted by ValleyCats staff and guests from various aspects of the sports industry.

To be considered, students must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at a college or university, or be recent graduates.

Positions are seasonal, part-time roles during which associates are expected to be present for certain office hours, games, and special events. Compensation is $12.50 per hour, with an average of 30-40 hours per week.

These positions will include training/orientation and focus on learning and developing new skills and gaining a deeper understanding of the industry, while acting as an extension of our full-time management staff.
