A 'Canadians' Thanksgiving

(Salvation Army - Vancouver B.C.) - The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club would like to thank their partners at Safeway Canada who made this Thanksgiving Holiday a little brighter for some invited families outside the Salvation Army Fraser street location today. C's and Salvation Army staff were able to donate more than 100 turkeys thanks to Safeway Canada's generosity.

"We are fortunate to have such great partners like Safeway Canada & the Salvation Army who make events like this possible," states Vancouver Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Graham Wall. "Since our first year of partnership (2008) Safeway Canada has donated more than 900 turkeys along with basting trays and recipes to truly deserving families."

The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club wishes to thank The Salvation Army and Safeway Canada for making another 'Canadians Thanksgiving' possible.
