Everett, WA - The Everett AquaSox (8-7) recorded a 3-2 win this morning against the Spokane Indians (9-6) on August 10, 2017 at Everett Memorial Stadium.

NWL All-Star Andres Torres started on the mound this morning and recorded four strikeouts in the first three innings while only allowing two hits.
The Frogs had their first base runner of the game in the third inning when Austin Grebeck took the ball to left field on a line drive single. He was left stranded, keeping the game scoreless after three innings.
Spokane took a lead in the fifth inning when Kole Enright hit a solo homerun, 1-0.
The Frogs took over the lead in the sixth inning when Grebeck hit a clutch two-run single with the bases loaded, 2-1. Eugene Helder and Greifer Andrade kept the bats alive through the seventh, scoring another run to extend the Frogs lead, 3-1.
Relief pitcher Adonis De La Cruz allowed a run for Indians in the eighth, 3-2.
Scott Kuzminsky relieved De la Cruz in the with two outs in the eighth inning. Kuzminsky gave up two hits in the ninth before striking out two of the last three batters to end the game. The AquaSox won for the third consecutive game against the Indians, 3-2.
