|Danny Tetzlaff||General Managerfirstname.lastname@example.org|
Tetzlaff joined the AquaSox in 2015 as the General Manager. He has touched all the bases in baseball while working from coast-to-coast. From Triple-A clubs including the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Allentown, PA) and Charlotte Knights (Charlotte, NC) to Single-A clubs such as the Casper Rockies (Casper, WY) he has most of the country covered. Tetzlaff has spent time as a consultant with numerous organizations including another NW League team - the Yakima Bears. He also helped re-introduce baseball to Yakima by helping start the Yakima Valley Pippins in 2014. Coming to Everett in 2015 was a natural fit and he feels like he hit a homerun coming here.
Tetzlaff has served as both a General Manager and Assistant GM with several successful organizations around the country. Danny was an Assistant GM for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (International League, AAA) from 2006 - 2009. The native of Winston-Salem, NC, was an integral member of the inaugural staff of the IronPigs. The Phillies Triple-A franchise was successfully launched in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA) in 2008 at the award-winning Coca-Cola Park. Tetzlaff was heavily involved in sales and marketing of the club before transitioning to baseball operations and stadium management.
Tetzlaff was recognized as the 2006 Pioneer League Executive of the Year as President/General Manager of the Casper Rockies (Advanced Rookie) after leading the Rockies to numerous attendance records. He spent five seasons with Casper (2001, 2003-06) along with one season with New Haven Ravens (Eastern, AA) in 2002. During his two-year stint as Rockies General Manager, Casper experienced the nation's fourth-largest attendance jump (32.8%) of the 150 National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues (NAPBL).
A graduate of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, Tetzlaff served five years as a sales manager for Detroit Diesel prior to his time in baseball. He is looking forward to making the Everett AquaSox an integral part of Everett, Snohomish County, and the entire North Sound Region. The goal is to provide affordable, family fun for everyone for years to come.
