The AquaSox and Sound Transit are gearing up for another fun year with the Hit a Home Run in Reading Program! More than 25,000 local students participated in this free, incentive-based program in 2026.
Reading Program Goal:
To encourage independent reading as a foundation for life-long learning, renew enthusiasm for reading close to the summer months and provide fun incentives for students.
Program Overview:
Teachers and students set goals for four weeks of independent reading during the months of March or April.
Participating students who complete the program receive a free ticket to an AquaSox game!
Schools can host group nights where students can redeem their vouchers and siblings/parents receive discounted tickets!
