Sox Win Big in Tri-City

Pasco, WA - Evan White doubled and singled twice, also stealing a base as the Everett AquaSox beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 11-5 on Wednesday.

Pasco, WA - Evan White doubled and singled twice, also stealing a base as the Everett AquaSox beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 11-5 on Wednesday.

Brayan Hernandez tripled and doubled with three RBIs and two runs for Everett.
With the game tied 4-4 in the fifth, Tri-City went out in front when Luis Asuncion hit an RBI single, scoring Kelvin Melean.
Everett answered in the next half-inning, scoring four runs to take the lead for good. Hernandez hit a two-run triple en route to the three-run lead.
The AquaSox later added two runs in the seventh and one in the eighth. In the seventh, Hernandez and Chris Torres both drove in a run, while White scored on a double play in the eighth.
Michael Suarez (3-1) got the win in relief while Chasen Ford (0-1) took the loss in the Northwest League game.
In the losing effort, Tri-City got contributions throughout its order, as five players recorded at least two hits.
Everett improved to 4-2 against Tri-City this season.
