North Little Rock, AR—The Arkansas Travelers picked up their fifth consecutive win, a new season high, and defeated the Wichita Wind Surge, 6-1, in the series opener on Tuesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park in front of a crowd of 4,046. Connor Jones earned the win authoring six innings of one-run

North Little Rock, AR—The Arkansas Travelers picked up their fifth consecutive win, a new season high, and defeated the Wichita Wind Surge, 6-1, in the series opener on Tuesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park in front of a crowd of 4,046. Connor Jones earned the win authoring six innings of one-run ball for his third win of the season. David Ellingson, Braden Shipley and Travis Kuhn each threw a scoreless inning to close it out. The offense posted four runs in the third inning and never looked back. Kaden Polcovich and Tanner Kirwer each had two hits in the win.

Moments That Mattered

* Shortstop Jose Caballero made a diving catch of a bloop by the line in shallow left field ending the top of the third inning. It stranded two Wichita runners and kept the game scoreless.

* Tanner Kirwer had a bunt single opening the bottom of the third, stole second and then scored on a double by Kaden Polcovich to open the scoring.
