Celebrity softball game, post-game fireworks highlight last home series before All-Star break

MOBILE, Ala. (June 13, 2017) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, return to Hank Aaron Stadium to face the Biloxi Shuckers (Milwaukee Brewers affiliate) in the second five-game home series of June.

The following is a breakdown of the promotional schedule during the upcoming homestand:

Wednesday, June 14, 2017 - BayBears vs. Biloxi Shuckers (MIL) (12:05 p.m.) - Dollar Dog Wednesday, presented by Greer's Markets / Day Baseball!

  • Gates open: 11:00 a.m. to the public
  • Dollar Dog Wednesday: $1 hot dogs all game long
  • Last day baseball game of the season!

Thursday, June 15, 2017 - BayBears vs. Biloxi Shuckers (MIL) (6:35 p.m.) - Thirsty Thursday

  • Gates open: 6:00 p.m. to the public
  • Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 cans of Rolling Rock and Natural Light, $3 domestic draft, $4 premium draft, and $2 Pepsi products
  • College Night: 2-for-1 tickets with college ID

Friday, June 16, 2017 - BayBears vs. Biloxi Shuckers (MIL) (7:05 p.m.) - Wind Creek Friday at The Hank / Cancer Survivor Night / Post-Game Fireworks

  • Gates open: 6:00 p.m. to the public
  • Friday Night Sponsor: Wind Creek Hotel and Casino
  • Post-Game Fireworks, presented by Wind Creek Hotel and Casino: Fans are encouraged to stay at the stadium for a spectacular fireworks display after the game.
  • Cancer Survivor Night, presented by Southern Cancer Center: Special recognition of cancer survivors throughout the game.

Saturday, June 17, 2017 - BayBears vs. Biloxi Shuckers (MIL) (7:05 p.m.) - AutoNation RAM Truck Saturday Night / Celebrity Softball Game / $1 Concessions Night

  • Gates open: 4:00 p.m. to the public
  • Saturday Night Sponsor: AutoNation RAM Truck
    • Free parking for anyone driving a RAM Truck to the game, courtesy of AutoNation
  • Celebrity Softball Game (4:30 p.m.): Special game bringing awareness to Westside Buddy Ball Program. Game features local former Alabama and Auburn football stars, as well as current and retired professional athletes, including A.J. McCarron, Jon Lieber, Nick Fairley, D.J. Fluker, Kevin Norwood, Reese Dismukes, and more! Special meet and greet with athletes following game.
  • $1 Concessions Night: $1 hot dogs, popcorn, chips, and sodas all game long.

Sunday, June 18, 2017 - BayBears vs. Biloxi Shuckers (MIL) (5:05 p.m.) - Sunday Fun Day / Bark in the Park, presented by Raising Cane's / Father's Day

  • Gates open: 4:00 p.m. to the public
  • Sunday Fun Day / Bark in the Park, presented by Raising Cane's: Furry, four-legged friends are welcome to join their owners at Hank Aaron Stadium. Additionally, all promotions for this game are for kids, including pregame catch on the field and postgame run the bases. There will also be several special in-game experiences for kids, such as PA announcer and broadcaster for an inning.
  • Father's Day: Fathers will be recognized throughout the game with special promotions and giveaways.
