Individuals applying for media credentials are required to sign the 'MiLB Credentials Waiver,' which can be downloaded below. Once completed, please upload the signed document into the Media Credentials Request form. If you have any questions or requests, please contact [email protected].
Please note that previous media pass approval does not guarantee a pass for 2025. Media passes require an internal screening and must be approved through both the Birmingham Barons and Minor League Baseball. Approval may take 5-7 business days.
SEASON CREDENTIALS:
Season credentials for the 2025 season will only be issued to legitimate news organizations that cover the Barons on a consistent basis. Season credential requests can be submitted online through the Barons Full Season Media Credential Application form above.
DAILY CREDENTIALS:
Daily credentials will be issued to individuals or organizations who do not qualify for season credentials. The Barons Media Relations Department should be notified within 72 hours in advance of the game or event for which daily credentials are being requested. Requests can be made online through the Media Credentials Request Above. Once approved, credentials will be available for pickup at the Executive Entrance.
WEBSITES, BLOGGERS AND FREELANCERS:
Bloggers, freelance writers, and photographers may request credentials, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Credential requests will be accepted or denied based on spacing, scheduling, and the discretion of the Barons Media Relations Department. Requests can be submitted online through the Barons Media Credential Application form above.
CREDENTIAL PICKUP:
The Barons will notify those qualifying for season credentials on an individual basis prior to the season regarding pickup. Daily credentials will only be available for pickup at the Executive Entrance
INTERVIEW REQUESTS:
The Barons Media Relations Department is happy to assist members of the media with procuring interviews with Barons players and coaching staff. Media members wishing to schedule an interview for a feature story must contact the Barons Media Relations Department at least 72 hours prior to the requested interview time. Interview requests do not guarantee interview availability.
CLUBHOUSE ACCESS:

SOCIAL MEDIA/LIVE STREAMING:
In accordance with Minor League Baseball rules, unauthorized live streaming of in-game action via social media or any other platform is prohibited.
VIOLATIONS:
The Barons reserve the right to suspend or revoke credentials, a publication's assigned press box seat, or an individual media member's press box access for protocol violations or other behavior deemed inappropriate.
