Quero Promotion, Addition of 2022 Draft Picks Brown & Moore Among Eight Roster Moves

ZEBULON – The Milwaukee Brewers announced a series of roster transactions today with eight affecting the Carolina Mudcats active roster. The announced moves included the promotion of C Jeferson Quero to High-A Wisconsin, the transfer of C Alex Hall from High-A Wisconsin to the Mudcats, the release of both C/INF Luis Silva and RHP Junior Montero, the transfer of INF Jheremy Vargas to the Arizona Complex League's Brewers Blue, the addition of both INF Eric Brown Jr. and INF Branlyn Jaraba to the Mudcats from the Arizona Complex League's Brewers Gold, and the addition of INF Robert Moore to the Mudcats from the Arizona Complex League's Brewers Blue.
Brown, 21, was selected by the Brewers with the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 First-Year Player Draft. Brown attended Coastal Carolina University and was first assigned to the ACL Brewers Gold where he hit .308/.471/.538 with a 1.009 OPS (4-for-13, 7 R, 3 2B, 1 RBI) over four games before his assignment to the Mudcats.
Moore, 20, was selected by the Brewers with the 72nd overall pick in Competitive Balance Round B of the 2022 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Arkansas.
The Carolina Mudcats roster is currently at 28 active players with one on the injured list.
