CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Knights and Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) are proud to announce that Banana Ball is returning to Truist Field in 2027. Two exciting Banana Ball teams, the Firefighters and the Loco Beach Coconuts, will entertain the city of Charlotte on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10 with two evenings of Banana Ball at Truist Field.

“The Charlotte Knights are thrilled to bring Banana Ball back to Truist Field for the second consecutive year,” said Knights VP of Special Events, Troy Rodrigues. “From their exciting brand of sports entertainment to their unique fan engagement, Banana Ball provides exactly what the Knights look for when it comes to bringing special events into one of the most versatile Minor League ballparks in the country.”

Banana Ball previously visited the city of Charlotte in June of 2025 and July of 2026. The spectacle welcomed sellout crowds at both Bank of America Stadium and Truist Field. This success created a significant economic impact for the region and made a return to the Queen City a clear choice as part of their 2027 World Tour.

“Charlotte has always shown up for Banana Ball, and we couldn’t be more excited to come back,” stated Founder & Owner of the Savannah Bananas, Jesse Cole. “The energy, the fans, the city — it’s the perfect place to keep growing Banana Ball to 1 billion fans.”

The matchups at Truist Field will feature the Firefighters and the Loco Beach Coconuts. The Firefighters were the headliners during last year’s visit to Charlotte and the Coconuts will be making their first trip to the Queen City.

“Banana Ball at Truist Field welcomed over 27,000 fans of all ages to Uptown Charlotte in 2026.” said Charlotte Knights President, Tom Denlinger. “The Knights take great pride in hosting events at Truist Field year-round that bring the community together and create memories in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.”

Fans interested in coming out to Truist Field and witnessing this spectacular display can enter the ticket lottery at BananaBall.com. Additional information including game times, seating locations, and FAQs will be announced at a later date.
