Get Ready for the 4th of July at Knights Stadium
WBT Skyshow Returns to Knights Stadium
FORT MILL, S.C. - The Charlotte Knights invite fans to come celebrate our nation's birthday out at the ballpark! Once again, the best place to catch Fourth of July fireworks will be out at Knights Stadium where the Charlotte Knights take on the Norfolk Tides on July 4 at 7:15 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and parking will be $5.
Tickets are available by calling the Knights box office at 704-357-8071 or online by clicking here.
Following the last out of the game, the area's best fireworks display - News Talk 1110 WBT's Skyshow - will commence. The show will be synchronized to a patriotic soundtrack played live inside the stadium and broadcast on WBT Radio (1110 AM & 99.3 FM). Fireworks are presented by News Talk 1110 WBT, Bank of America, Time Warner Cable and Carolina Weekly Newspaper Group.
The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a small American Flag courtesy of Conder Flags. WBT will have live reports from the Knights Stadium throughout the evening. Staff Sergeant Claire Houghton from Shaw Air Force Base will sing the National Anthem. Local band Square Roots will perform in front of the stadium prior to the game. North Carolina based band Melonbelly will be performing God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch and will be performing after the game.
The Knights would like to remind fans to try to arrive early and make use of our second entrance to the stadium parking lot by using Gold Hill Commons Parkway, which is located a ¼ of a mile on the right, past the main entrance to Knights Stadium. Fans using this entrance will park in Lots 1 and 2 located on the 1st base side of the stadium near the old basketball training facility.
