Avoiding being no hit last night the Lookouts managed their first hit of the game in Birmingham in the fifth inning off of starter Dane Dunning. He would work eight innings with ten strikeouts in the 3-0 Barons win. Omar Bencomo was tapped for nine hits but had seven stirkeouts of his own. Lookouts hit attack was much more subdued with five total after the barrage the night before in their win. As of this writing there were three teams within rach of Jackson as the Looks, Smokies and Biscuits were aree in second place in the first hal race.
