Lookouts Comeback Falls Short

By Chattanooga Lookouts | April 12, 2018 9:34 AM ET

Lookouts pitching was touched by early runs despite the 10 strikeouts in the first four innings in the 6-5 loss last night. Starter Zack Littell had early success in the K-zone, but the offense waited until the ninth to produce runs. Overall it was a sixteen strikeout night for the staff. In the ninth TJ White launched his first home run of the season to get within two runs. An added run batted in was added by Nick Gordon.  Ryan Walker was thrown out trying for third on the play. The final out came on a called strike three to end the game in the first of a five game series.

On Thursday, the Lookouts go with LH-Stephen Gonsalves (1-0,0.00) and the Wahoos RH-Keury Mella (0-0,1.80) on the mound at 7:35 EDT. Hear the games on REAL 96.1 and at MiLB.com.
