After Brent Rooker homered in the first inning to give Chattanooga an early two-run advantage, the Biscuits piled on seven runs in the second inning to put the Lookouts in a hole they were never able to recover from.
The first inning bomb was the first of Rooker's two home runs on the night, while Edgar Corcino hit his fourth home run of the season to now have a hit in 11 straight games at AT&T Field. Zander Wiel also went 3-for-5 to now have at least two hits in four of his last five games.
Right-hander Omar Bencomo (3-0, 2.21 ERA) will toe the rubber for Chattanooga on Friday night at 7:15pm.
