Lookouts centerfielder Jose Siri smacked a RBI single in extra-innings to give the Lookouts the 5-4 walk-off win in game two over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
In game one of the doubleheader Chattanooga was shutout and held to only three hits in the 1-0 loss. Former Lookouts pitcher Jorge Alcala, only surrendered two hits in 5.2 innings while striking out four batters. The Blue Wahoos scored the only run of the game in the fourth inning on a Tanner English sacrifice fly. Lookouts pitcher Jordan Johnson was tagged with the loss, despite earning his first quality start of the season. The righty gave up one earned run in six innings.
Game two began like game one. Both teams put zeros on the board before Pensacola took the lead in the fifth inning. They expanded their lead in the fifth when Luis Arraez plated two runners on a single to make it 4-0.
With only three outs left the Lookouts began their rally with two straight walks. Taylor Trammell followed that up with a single to load the bases. After a pitching change to bring in lefty Tyler Jay, Ibandel Isabel belted a grand slam to tie the game and send it into extra innings.
In the bottom of the ninth Jose Siri brought home Michael Beltre who began the inning on second. The walk-off was Siri's second of the homestand and the win was the team's 15th win out of their last 19 games.
Tomorrow, they look to keep winning as they send RHP Rob Wooten to the mound against RHP Brusdal Graterol. Game time is set for 7:15 p.m.
