The El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Salt Lake Bees 5-2 Sunday at Southwest University Park, giving El Paso three consecutive wins over Salt Lake. The Chihuahuas swept the Bees, their second series sweep of the year and their first since mid-June against Tacoma.

Jabari Blash went 1-for2 with a home run and a walk. The homer was his third in his last seven games. Franchy Cordero also homered, a towering fly ball that flew over the batter's eye in the bottom of the third. El Paso starter Bryan Rodriguez allowed only one run in seven innings of work, his longest start of the season.
Sunday was the final time the Chihuahuas and Bees will meet this season, with El Paso winning 10 of the 16 meetings this year. The Chihuahuas enter the Pacific Coast League all-star break in third place, five games behind first place Salt Lake.
