The El Paso Chihuahuas trailed 3-0 with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning Saturday before coming back to beat the Las Vegas 51s 4-3 at Southwest University Park.

Ryan Schimpf led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a pinch-hit home run, El Paso's first pinch-hit homer since July 14 at Reno (Diego Goris). Later in the bottom of the ninth, down by a run, Goris raced home from second base on an error by Las Vegas second baseman Gavin Cecchini to tie the game on a play at the plate. Chase d'Arnaud's walk loaded the bases for Franchy Cordero, who grounded a single into center field to win the game. It was El Paso's second walk off win of the season, with both coming on bases loaded singles by Cordero.
Jordan Lyles allowed two runs in three innings in his second game in the Padres organization. The 51s did not have any baserunners in the final three innings of the game against Chihuahuas relievers Zach Lee and Kevin Quackenbush.
