BRADENTON, FL – Otto Kemp doubled in his rehab assignment, but the Clearwater Threshers (2-1) managed three hits in a 4-0 loss to the Bradenton Marauders. After a day off on Monday the Threshers return home for their home opening series against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels.

Bradenton added one run in the third inning to take an early lead and MLB rehabber Ji-Hwan Bae drove in a second with a 5th-inning single to double the Bradenton lead to 2-0. The Marauders plated another in the seventh and an RBI double in the eighth sealed the score at 4-0 in the Threshers first loss of the year.

Mavis Graves allowed one run on four hits in 4.0 innings of work with two walks and three strikeouts. Trey Dillard surrendered one run on one hit with two walks and one strikeout in 1.0 inning. Casey Steward allowed one run on two hits with one walk and three strikeouts in 2.0 innings of work. Cristian Hernández struck out one and walked one with one run on one hit allowed in the final frame.
