CORPUS CHRISTI - Calling all Coastal Bend foodies! The 2019 South Texas Food Truck Festival is set for Saturday, March 23 at Whataburger Field.
Nearly 50 food trucks will be open for business in the ballpark's west parking lot from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. This family-and-pet-friendly event is open to the public. Access to the festival is free with parking priced at $5.

Also on the menu is a food-eating contest and live music. Attendees can explore a wide variety of vendors at the Arts and Crafts Alley, while youngsters get their fill of fun at the Kids' Field Zone.
The food truck festival, a celebration of South Texas and its show-stopping selection of grub, was featured on PBS' The Daytripper as one of the "10 Festivals to Rock Your Summer!"
