Bark at the Park
CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi Hooks welcome you and your four-legged friends to Whataburger Field for Bark at the Park, presented by Emergency Pet Clinic.
Fans can bring their dogs to the ballpark on Monday, May 19, for the Hooks' 7:10 contest against their canine rivals, the Midland RockHounds, and participate in an on-field Doggie Parade around the warning track at 6:15.
Companion tickets for fans and their furry friends on the Right Field Berm are $12. Berm tickets for patrons without pets are $5. Partial proceeds from Bark at the Park go to Heartbeats Dog Rescue, a local, nonprofit organization that finds foster and permanent homes for dogs.
Interested in welcoming a new member into your family? Heartbeats will have adoptable dogs on-site.
Hounds and their handlers enter Whataburger Field at the Right Field Gate by Hurricane Alley, and owners are required sign a waiver upon entering. The following steps will be taken to ensure a safe environment for dogs, owners, players and fans:
- Owners must clean up after their dogs
- Owners must promptly dispose of waste produced by their dog
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times (six-foot maximum length)
- Children with dogs must be accompanied by an adult
- All dogs must have current tags and rabies vaccinations
- Owners who lack control of their dogs will be asked to leave
