Ken Carson

September 15, 2006
Ken has been with the Toronto Blue Jays organization since the team was founded in 1976. Prior to joining the Blue Jays, Ken was the Athletic Trainer for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League for its first ten seasons in existence, begining in 1967. He served as Athletic Trainer for the Blue Jays team for its first ten seasons. He was named Athletic Trainer for the American League All-Stars at the 1980 Major League All Star Game in Los Angeles. He was also a member of Toronto's first American League Eastern Divisional Title in 1985.

In 1987, he took the positions of Director of Florida Operations and General Manager of the Dunedin Blue Jays for twenty remarkable seasons until September 2006, when he decided it was time to retire. Ken is now an invaluable consultant to the entire Dunedin Blue Jays staff.

Ken has made a lifetime of friends throughout professional sports, and especially within Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League. In a proud moment, Ken became a United States Citizen in September 2006. He has a lot of great stories from his experiences so if you need a laugh ask him to tell you one, you won't regret it.
