September 3, 2011
DUNEDIN,FL - Rajai Davis homered in his first game with the Dunedin Blue Jays and five relievers combined to allow just two runs on five hits in the Blue Jays 6-2 victory on Saturday night in Dunedin.

Having wrapped up a post-season berth by sweeping Friday's doubleheader, the Blue Jays employed a new look lineup in game three of a four game set with the Threshers, but the results were the same.

The Blue Jays just keep winning.

Batting in the leadoff spot as the designated hitter, the rehabbing Davis homered in his third at bat to increase a 1-0 Dunedin lead to 2-0. The Blue Jays scored their first run in the second inning on a Ryan Goins RBI single up the middle.

Scott Gracey started the game for the Blue Jays, and he threw two scoreless innings before Justin Phillabaum and Harold Mozingo followed with similar results.

Matt Daly allowed a run in the seventh to cut the lead to 2-1, but a four-run bottom of the eighth put the game out of reach and secured the Blue Jays fourth consecutive victory.

Saturday night's win came in front of 1,539 fans at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in the final home game of the regular season. The Jays will head to Clearwater on Sunday for a 1pm game to end the regular season. A win on Sunday means that the Blue Jays will have tied the season series with the Threshers at ten wins a piece.

Andrew Liebel will get the start Sunday, as the Blue Jays look to finish the season on a five game winning streak. Liebel will be opposed by Clearwater's Julio Rodriguez who currently leads all of Minor League Baseball with 16 wins.
