2021 Season Memberships FAQ

Update: Major League Baseball announced on March 2 that the start of the 2021 Triple-A season has been pushed back due to the health & safety of fans, players and personnel alike. We will have more information and updates in the near future.

We hope you are as excited to be talking about Bulls baseball as we are. This is going to be a different kind of season, so we are offering two options to make the most of your 2021 ticket experience and give you flexibility.

You can choose to either 1) Bypass the first two months of the season and be given a credit on your account starting on June 1; or 2) your membership will be turned into a credit to use for the entirety of the season starting with Opening Day. Both plans allow you the ability to pick your games and seats, purchase in-store merchandise, and in-stadium food and beverage, while also acknowledging some may not feel comfortable attending early in the season.

Additionally, we are implementing an all-digital ticket experience to ensure the safety of both our fans and staff. The 919 Member Headquarters page is a great place to start for more information on how to access your account. We have worked with to make sure the digital ticket experience is an easy transition for you.

The dates are listed below in the FAQ to start redeeming your 919 Membership credit if you choose option 2. You may continue to redeem credit at any point after your early exchange date. When redeeming credits online, our ticket provider will charge a small fee that will be taken off your credit. We worked hard to have the fee waived but were unable to do so. If you wish to bypass the fee, we will have staff on standby in the box office who can assist in redeeming your credits. Call 919-956-BULL ext. 1 for assistance.

If you would like to opt out of April and May, please contact us at [email protected] and we can push your credit to begin on June 1. If we do not hear from you by February 25 about delaying your credit, it will begin on April 1.

919 Membership Credits

When will the season begin?

MLB has delayed our season four weeks. Our home opener is now scheduled for Tuesday, May 11. We are currently working on a new schedule for redeeming 919 Member tickets for May games and will email you updates.

What if I had already redeemed my tickets for April?

Those tickets are in the process of being moved to the coordinating May games. For example if you had tickets to Opening Day (April 6th) you will now have tickets for the new Opening Day (May 11th). We will update you when those tickets have been adjusted on your account. If you are unable to make your newly adjusted game please email [email protected] and we will remove those tickets to add the credit back to your account.

What is the plan for my tickets for 2021?

Due to restricted capacity limitations from the State of North Carolina, we will be moving to a credit system for the 2021 season. If you would like to push your credit to start in June, please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you by February 25, we will start credit in April.

How are my credits determined?

Credits will be accumulated on a month per month basis. If you are on a payment plan and have only paid a portion of that credit it will continue to accumulate throughout the season. If you have paid in full, you will have access for April and each month that we open up games, and you will have credit added per month.

When will I be able to start redeeming my credits?

There will be designated exchange start dates for each plan. You may exchange credits after the start dates have passed.

Please keep in mind you can always redeem credit after these dates; these are early access. Games will be released month by month. You will be notified via e-mail when a new month is released.

What happens if I do not use this credit in that month?

Credits can be carried for the entire 2021 season. If you do not use them in the month that is open, you may still use them for the rest of the season. In the event the Bulls are eligible for a Postseason, you may also redeem credit for those games.

What will happen with games from June through September?

Your money will be placed on a credit and you will be able to redeem that credit for those months as well. We will open up those months closer to the game dates to adjust to North Carolina capacity changes.

Currently North Carolina is at 25% capacity for the ballpark. How does that affect the number of tickets available?

There are a limited number of tickets that are available to exchange given social distancing and regulations. If state regulations change, we may open additional seats.

Can I use my credit for merchandise or food?

Yes! If you would like to exchange your credit for in-park use, please contact us in order for us to leave credit at the Mako Medical Box Office window for you during the season. You can use this credit to buy merchandise at the Ballpark Corner Store in-person or at any of our concession stands and bars for food or beverage.

What about my parking pass?

We will have more information in the coming weeks regarding parking. The money that you have prepaid for parking will be rolled over as a credit similar to your ticket credits and can be used in the same manner.

I have PNC Triangle Club Tickets. How do I redeem those?

If you have PNC Triangle Club tickets you can redeem your credit online, just as you would with another game ticket. There is limited capacity in the club, and seating will be assigned in the club due to social distancing.

Can I try out other seating locations throughout the DBAP?

Tickets are able to be redeemed into any seating location in the ballpark. It will deduct from the credit balance based on the price of that seat. If you would like to try a Terrace Box or Suite please give us a call at 919-956-BULL.

Why is there a fee online? Can I avoid that? charges a $2 service fee for operating on their website. If you redeem your credit for seats online, it will take out the $2 from your credit amount. In order to not pay this fee please call 919-956-BULL ext. 1 between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. If you speak with a representative, they can redeem that credit for seats without the online fee. If you are not able to call during that time, please leave a voicemail or send an email to [email protected] and a representative will help you avoid that $2 fee.

Can I come to the DBAP to redeem my credit and select my seats while avoiding any fees?

Our Mako Ticket Office is currently not open for walk ups. We plan to open for limited hours starting in mid-March. When this option is available, we will let you know via e-mail so you can come visit us and exchange your credits.

When will I be able to access my account and see my credit?

We will email you when your credit is live on your account. Please look for that email during the last week of February for when you can access your credit as well as more information on redeeming your credits online.

When can I redeem my credit for the rest of the season?

We will send reminder emails as to when each plan is able to redeem their credits. Below are dates when 919 Members may begin redeeming their credits for tickets for each month*.

  • May Home Dates: starting April 12
  • June Home Dates: starting May 17
  • July Home Dates: starting June 14
  • August and September Home Dates: starting July 19

Social Distancing at the DBAP

Will you be social distancing the DBAP?

Yes. Social distancing will be based on state and local guidelines. Once you redeem your credit, seats that would be around you will be socially distanced. Available tickets are already distanced from other available seats throughout the DBAP.

Digital Ticket Management

How will I receive my tickets this year?

For the health and safety of our fans and employees, this year we will be going digital with our 919 Membership tickets. Consign-back (70 Game Membership Only)

Will consign-back be an option this year?

Due to social distancing measures and the safety of other fans, we unfortunately are unable to have consign-back this year. This is for additional health and safety of our fans at the DBAP.

Health and Safety Measures

  • In addition to social distancing seats throughout the ballpark, there will be multiple entry and exit points to/from Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
  • Masks will be required while in the ballpark unless you are eating or drinking.
  • Hand sanitizing stations and COVID best practices signage will be visible throughout the DBAP.
