New Hampshire To Host 2017 All-Star Game

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Dozens of baseball's top prospects and premiere talents will convene in Manchester next summer, as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats are proud to announce the team will host the 2017 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 12, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

"It's a testament to our city, our front office and our fans that the Eastern League has bestowed this honor upon us once again," said Fisher Cats Owner Art Solomon. "We are thrilled to welcome the very best prospects in the Eastern League, and we look forward to creating more memories for everyone involved next summer."

"We're proud to bring major events like this to Manchester," Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner said. "We're excited to work with the community and our partners to make this the best All-Star Game yet. " 

The 2017 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game will feature the stars of the Eastern Division against the stars of the Western Division. The teams will be selected through a combination of fan balloting and selections from managers, media and team personnel.

"We are very excited to be bringing our premiere event back to New Hampshire," said Eastern League President Joseph McEacharn. "We look forward to showcasing the Major League stars of tomorrow to Fisher Cats fans while also highlighting the city of Manchester and the surrounding region to the Eastern League. The fans in New Hampshire continue to show tremendous support for their organization and we know that enthusiasm will be on full display for the entire league to experience next July."

Jeff Bagwell, Jose Bautista, Michael Bourn, Aaron Hill, Jon Lester, Angel Pagan, Hanley Ramirez, Alex Rios, Grady Sizemore, Omar Vizquel, Bernie Williams, Kevin Youkilis and Joel Zumaya.

Tickets will go on sale toward the end of the 2016 season, and details of the All-Star festivities will be announced in the coming weeks. Fisher Cats season ticket holders will have the first chance to purchase All-Star tickets when they renew their plans for 2017.
