Carlos Quentin Joins Chihuahuas on Injury Rehab

-INF Jace Peterson optioned to El Paso from San Diego

-OF Carlos Quentin joins El Paso on Major League injury rehab assignment

Ambriz appeared in 14 games for the Chihuahuas, posting a 1.62 ERA. Peterson divided the first month of the season between Double-A San Antonio and the Major Leagues, going 4-for-23 in his first 10 Major League games.

Quentin has not appeared in a Major League game this season. He is on the San Diego Padres disabled list with a knee injury. He is a two-time Major League All-Star who has spent parts of eight seasons in the Major Leagues with the Diamondbacks, White Sox and Padres.
