The El Paso Chihuahuas rallied to tie Tuesday's game in Tacoma with a run in the eighth inning and another in the ninth but surrendered a bases-loaded, walk-off single to Tito Polo in the Rainiers' 5-4 win. It was El Paso's first road game of the season.

Ty France and Jose Pirela both hit solo home runs for El Paso, giving the Chihuahuas 10 home runs through the first six games of the season. Fernando Rodriguez pitched two shutout innings with four strikeouts in his season debut and became the first El Paso native to play for the Chihuahuas.
Gerardo Reyes also threw a scoreless outing for the Chihuahuas. El Paso turned three double plays in the loss, tying a season high.
