Emeralds Announce an All-Star Summer Schedule

November 19, 2013

The Eugene Emeralds have announced their 2014 schedule and that they have been awarded hosting rights to the Northwest League All Star Game for the first time in their history. This is only the second year the league will officially be holding an All-Star Game; the first year was hosted by the Everett AquaSox.

The Emeralds are scheduled to play 38 home games and 38 road games again in 2014. Eugene starts their 2014 campaign with a five game series against the Spokane Indians in Spokane. Opening Night at PK Park is Wednesday, June 18 with a first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm when the Emeralds will take on the Boise Hawks.

The breakdown of games by month is: June - 8; July - 16; and August - 14, plus the All-Star Game on August 5, 2014. There are seven Thursdays on the home schedule this season and Emeralds will be kicking off a new weekly promotion known as $2 Thursdays (excluding July 3rd), which will include: $2 parking, $2 tickets, $2 sodas and $2 beer (craft and domestic) and six Wednesday Carl's Jr. Kids Eat Free Nights set for 2014. You may see the entire 2014 Schedule HERE. The Emeralds full promotional schedule is still to come.

"The Northwest League All-Star Game is still in its early years, but we know fans around the Northwest will recognize it is a great community event," said Emeralds General Manager, Allan Benavides. "The attention focused on the game will allow us to showcase our community to a regional audience, and the event itself is a tremendous experience for our fans and corporate partners. It's an honor and privilege for the Emeralds to serve as the host team for the event and support the new tradition of this game." The All-Star event will include much more than just the game itself. Details will be announced at a later date concerning pre-game activities, autograph sessions, and additional entertainment.

Ticket packages are available in four and ten game mini-packs along with full-season options and start as low as $35. Packages are available for the box or premium box seating. All full-season plans will include seats to the Northwest League All Star Game.

Individual tickets for games during the 2014 season are not available at this time. Fans may contact the Emeralds ticket office for information about full-season and partial season ticket packages. Groups of 20 or more may also reserve their spots for any game during next season.
