What's On Deck in April
The Fisher Cats 10th Anniversary Season kicks off with a bustle of activity beginning Thursday, April 4. The month features Atlas Fireworks shows, giveaways, a 10th Anniversary celebration, and special days for youngsters in the community.
10th Anniversary Celebration - The first game marks the beginning of the 10th season with a special celebration of the first nine years in Manchester. The Fisher Cats will wear special uniforms and caps from the inaugural season in 2004. The first 5,000 fans will receive a special commemorative ticket courtesy of Spectrum Marketing Companies.
Loosen Your Belts - On April 20, you can enjoy all the burgers, hot dogs, and nachos you can eat for free on Rock 101 & The Morning Buzz All You Can Eat Day. You can enjoy the abundant fare for free with just the price of your $12 or $14 ticket.
Atlas Fireworks - The first fireworks show of the season comes after the second game of the season on April 5. You can also catch fireworks on April 19.
Giveaways - In addition to the commemorative ticket giveaway on Opening Day, the first 2,500 fans will receive a 2013 Magnet Schedule presented by The Elliot at River's Edge on April 5. A fleece blanket awaits the first 1,000 fans on April 18 courtesy of Heritage Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling.
Reading Challenge recognition - On April 6, 7, and 21, students from across New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts will celebrate their completion of the Fisher Cats Reading Challenge with a trip to the ballpark courtesy of the Community College System of New Hampshire.
All about the Kids - In addition to Reading Challenge games, the Fisher Cats will host a ballpark full of students from Manchester schools thanks to Youk's Kids, E&R Cleaners, and the Fisher Cats Foundation. An EnergyNorth Propane Educational Day will turn the ballpark into a giant classroom on April 25. We'll also recognize youngsters who develop good brushing and flossing habits on Northeast Delta Dental Oral Health Challenge night on April 23.
Weekend Favorites: The return of weekend games marks the return of two fan favorites. On Saturday nights, you can win free prizes by playing USA Subs Baseball Bingo. Sundays, kids can run the bases after the game.
