FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 19, 2026) - The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels are proud to unveil a digital version of the Killebrew Root Beer Southwest Florida Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame.

The Hall has recognized professional scouts with annual inductions for the past two decades, honoring baseball lifers who dedicated their careers to finding and developing players who would go on to have successful careers on the diamond.

“I think it is a great continuation of our process to make the Hall accessible to fans world wide in addition to the fans who visit the physical Wall in Fort Myers,” License Manager of Killebrew Root Beer Jim Lundeen said.

The digital edition of the Hall can be accessed here. It is located under the Hammond Stadium tab in the Mightymussels.com navigation bar.

The Hall's physical home inside of Gate 2 at Lee Health Sports Complex and Hammond Stadium remains unchanged and is still available for fans to view at the ballpark.

“As I’ve had an opportunity to meet with the scouts who have poured their life's work into finding future major league baseball players, it is so cool to highlight their stories to a global audience,” Mighty Mussels Managing Partner John Martin said. “Minor league baseball and scouting go hand in hand and we love shining a positive spotlight on that relationship.”

Last September, Jim Gabella became the 20th scout to be honored with a plaque on “The Wall.”

“It is an honor to continue the tradition of celebrating such a great group of scouts that have made the ultimate commitment to growing the game of baseball,” Mighty Mussels Co-President and General Manager Judd Loveland said. “These are brilliant baseball minds, but also amazing human beings."

The Mighty Mussels will wrap the home portion of their regular season August 25-30 against the Bradenton Marauders. Ticking and promotional information can be found here.
