Riders announce new hires, promotions

Miller named CFO, Arseneau VP Ballpark Operations, four promoted

FRISCO, Texas (Feb. 2, 2018) - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, today announced the hiring of two industry veterans to senior front office positions, naming Bernadette "Bernie" Miller Chief Financial Officer and Tim Arseneau Vice President, Ballpark Operations.

Miller spent the last four years as Chief Financial Officer of the Lakewood (NJ) BlueClaws, the Class-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies in the South Atlantic League. Prior to her most recent role, she was the Director of Finance for the Double-A Eastern League's Erie (PA) SeaWolves for 13 years. Miller graduated from Baker College with both a BA in Accounting and HRM, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. As CFO, she will be responsible for the team's financial planning and analysis, accounting functions, budgeting and reporting.

Arseneau, a 21-year veteran of Minor League Baseball industry, spent the last three years with the Lake Elsinore (CA) Storm, the Class-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres in the California League. With the Storm, he served as Assistant General Manager, managing Golden State Concession & Catering, the team's food and beverage company, and Diamond Stadium Operations, the club's management group. With the Riders, he will oversee all ballpark repairs, maintenance and construction, schedule and execute venue utilization and manage the team's third-party food and beverage partnership and other vendor relationships.

The RoughRiders also announced the promotions of Matt Ratliff to Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Regina Lyn Pierce to Assistant Vice President, Entertainment, Kathryne Buckley to Assistant Vice President, Partner & Event Services, and David Kosydar to Director, Partner Services.

Each has grown quickly in their respective departments and will continue to be vital contributors to the team's success now and into the future."

Ratliff has served the franchise in multiple capacities for more than a decade, overseeing all of the club's marketing, promotional and social media initiatives, implementing ongoing strategies that have continually increased brand presence and organizational sales. In his expanded role, he will now lead the team's communications and community development departments.

Pierce initially joined the RoughRiders as an on-field entertainment host in 2008. She spent four years as an emcee before becoming the club's Director of Game Entertainment in 2013. As Assistant Vice President, Entertainment, Pierce will continue to focus on the overall fan experience at Dr Pepper Ballpark, lead the club's entertainment staff, technical crew and promotions team, and produce all game day promotional and entertainment elements.

Buckley has been sharing her passion for sports and events with the RoughRiders since 2014. In her new role as Assistant VP, Partner & Event Services, she will continue to work with new and current corporate partners to execute sponsorship elements and special events, while also taking a leading role in the planning of all RoughRiders' non-game day events at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

Kosydar has spent the last eight years servicing fulfillment of partner accounts in the sponsorship department. Moving forward as Director, Partner Services, he will facilitate promotional campaigns for corporate partners in both the ballpark and the community as well as oversee the inventory and consumption of the team's sponsorship CRM database.
