Accessible Services

Since Dow Diamond's groundbreaking in 2006, the Great Lakes Loons and Michigan Baseball Foundation have partnered with Disability Network of Mid-Michigan to create a world-class stadium that is accessible to all fans. As the leading advocacy and resource group for individuals with disabilities in the Great Lakes Bay Region, Disability Network aided the Loons in meeting and exceeding stadium requirements set by the Americans with Disabilities Act during Dow Diamond's initial construction and continues to be a key community partner in updating Dow Diamond as the landscape of accessible services evolves.

Disability Network is proud to be the presenting partner of Accessible Services at Dow Diamond, including:

• Wheelchair seating, companion seats in the reserved box, premium seating sections, and group venues
• Wheelchair seating in the outfield lawn seating sections
• Accessible Parking Spots in Homeplate Parking Lot and Outfield Parking Lot
• Accessible Drop-Off and Pick-Up Locations at each entry gate
• Curbside wheelchair assistance at each entry gate
• Post-game wheelchair assistance services
• Elevators at each entry gate
• Accessible bathroom stalls in each men's and women's bathroom
• Family/Companion Restrooms with door activation buttons on each side of concourse
• Armless stadium seats throughout seating bowl
• Assistive Listening Systems available at Guest Services (all games broadcast on ESPN 100.9-FM)
• Accessible drinking fountains throughout stadium
• Gluten Free Concession Options
• Visual fire alarms
• Visual emergency notifications on videoboard, ribbon boards, and closed-circuit broadcast
• Braille and raised lettering on all wayfinding signage
• Sensory kits

Disability Network of Mid-Michiganis leading the charge to change societal attitudes about people with disabilities and to provide an environment where everyone, regardless of their abilities, can contribute to their communities based on their own interests, skills, and desires. Through a variety of services, DNMM provides assistance to people with disabilities, their families, employers, and the community. DNMM supports the determination of individuals with disabilities to lead dignified, independent lives, and works to heighten community awareness of those physical and social barriers that restrict independence.
