Amongst these tales, one legend stands tall… THE MICHIGAN DOGMAN.
This isn’t a story of fear. It’s a story of curiosity, wonder, and the thrill of adventuring into the unknown. The Dogman isn’t a monster lurking in the dark, it’s the spirit of the wild. A reminder of the magic that comes alive when we gather outdoors; eyes wide with excitement, sharing stories under the stary skies.

The field glows like a giant campfire circle where the Great Lakes Loons become the Michigan Dogmen, embracing the legend that has sparked imaginations for generations.

For an entire weekend, the Loons are trade in the ballpark for the lake life as Dow Diamond transforms into ‘Up North’ at the lake. The team becomes the Great Lakes Pontooners, embracing Michigan’s summer spirit with sunset-inspired jerseys, lake-themed fun, yacht rock vibes, and exclusive giveaway items. Presented by Sugar Springs Marine, this series is a celebration of everything we love about life on the water — from pontoons and sunshine to good times with great company.

Los Pepinillos Picantes del Norte
About los Pepinillos Picantes del Norte
The Loons are excited to participate in MiLB’s season-long initiative, “Copa de la Diversión” or “Fun Cup”. For three home games at Dow Diamond this season, the Loons will transform into the los Pepinillos Picantes del Norte, complete with special uniforms, food, and music that creates a fresh and exciting atmosphere at Dow Diamond. A celebration of the rich history Hispanic migrant farmers played in the Great Lakes Bay Region’s agricultural community, los Pepinillos Picantes del Norte pays homage to their presence and contributions to cultivating one of our signature crops – the pickle. “Pepinillos Picantes” honors the impact our Hispanic community has created throughout the region with its Tejano influences while “del Norte” was commonly used by Latinos when referencing the return to Michigan. The logo’s vibrant color palette signifies the community’s dynamic spirit and the emergence of its next generation.

Los Loons están emocionados de participar en la Copa de la Diversión. Durante tres partidos en esta temporada en el estadio Dow Diamond, los Loons se transformarán a los Pepinillos Picantes del Norte. Esta transformación traerá nuevos unifromes, comida y música la cual crearán una átmosfera sin igual. La identidad celebra el rol que desempeñan los granjeros Hispanos en la región agrícola de Great Lakes Bay. Así como rinde homenaje a sus contribuciones al cultivar una de nuestras cosechas distintivas - el pepinillos.
